Queridos pap\u00e1s, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 en Quest<\/strong> le damos tanta importancia a utilizar todos los sentidos y hacer ejercicio f\u00edsico?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Quien nos lo pude explicar muy bien es Jean Ayres<\/em>, en su libro \u201cLa integraci\u00f3n sensorial del ni\u00f1o<\/strong><\/em>\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n

Como hasta los siete a\u00f1os de edad, el cerebro es b\u00e1sicamente una m\u00e1quina de procesamiento sensorial. Esto quiere decir que siente las cosas y adquiere un significado directamente de las sensaciones. Un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o no tiene muchos pensamientos o ideas acerca de las cosas, \u00fanicamente se ocupa de sentirlas y de mover el cuerpo en relaci\u00f3n con esas sensaciones. Sus respuestas adaptativas son m\u00e1s musculares o motoras que mentales. Por eso los primeros siete a\u00f1os de vida se llaman de desarrollo sensoriomotor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2026La integraci\u00f3n sensorial que se lleva a cabo al moverse, hablar y jugar, es la base de una integraci\u00f3n sensorial m\u00e1s compleja que es necesaria para leer, escribir y para un buen comportamiento. Si en los primeros siete a\u00f1os de vida los procesos sensoriales est\u00e1n bien organizados, el ni\u00f1o le resultar\u00e1 m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil aprender habilidades mentales y sociales posteriormente. Por este motivo, las actividades de psicomotricidad en ni\u00f1os de nuestro k\u00ednder, que oscilan entre dos a seis a\u00f1os, son tan necesarias para el resto de su vida escolar y universitaria, ya que, si realizaron un adecuado desarrollo, todo lo referente al aprendizaje les ser\u00e1 m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil, comenzando por el complejo aprendizaje lecto-escritor<\/em> y matem\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En este periodo tan importante del ser humano, no dejemos de estimular la motricidad fina y gruesa en casa, hagamos a un lado -en la medida de lo posible y con sentido com\u00fan- largos ratos de nuestros peque\u00f1os con los celulares o tablets<\/em>, crean que ya tendr\u00e1n tiempo para utilizarlos como herramientas indispensables que lo son para la comunicaci\u00f3n y el quehacer humano de estos tiempos. Por nuestra cuenta, Quest les apoyar\u00e1 diariamente para lograr el m\u00e1ximo desarrollo de sus hijos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
